Gold Coins
1. Gold Coins as Currency
Gold coins are the in-game currency and act as a point system.
Each character earns and uses their own gold coins; they cannot be shared between characters.

2. Eligibility for Gold Coins
Only officially accepted characters can earn gold coins.
Artwork, literature, and RPs created before acceptance into the group are not eligible for gold coins.

3. Earning Gold Coins
Gold coins can be earned through various activities related to your character's story, past, present, or day-to-day scenes.
Collaborations and RPs with other members are eligible for gold coin rewards.

4. Bonuses
Bonuses can be earned for specific types of submissions:
+1 character Bonus: When your character's character is featured.
+1 Extra Character Bonus: When you include characters from other players in your artwork.
+1 Plot Bonus: During group-wide or clan-wide plots or events.

5. Starting Gold Coins
Characters automatically receive 2 gold coins upon joining the group.
​
6. Character of the Month Vote
Voting in the Character of the Month (COtM) earns +1 gold coin for the chosen character.

7. Illustrations
1 gold coin for a bust or headshot.
2 gold coins for a fullbody illustration.
​
8. RP (Role-Playing)
1 gold coin for a paragraph-style RP with at least three separate posts.
Additional +1 gold coin for every subsequent set of 3 posts.
Lit-style RP: 1 gold coin per participant per every 1500 words.

9. Literature
1 gold coin per 500 words in a story, with additional gold coins for every set of 500 words.
Character interactions count as literature with a character bonus.

10. Comic Pages
2+ gold coins for comics featuring your character in each panel.
Additional +1 gold coin for each panel with your character.
Minimum 2 panels for comic consideration.

11. Animations and PMVs
Animations must be related to your character's storyline, past, present, or day-to-day life.
Simple Animation: 2 gold coins
Moderate Animation: 4 gold coins
Complex Animation: 8+ gold coins
PMVs: 8+ gold coins (length-dependent)

12. Monthly Special Events (MSEs)
MSE memes grant +1 gold coin in the month they are the "monthly special event."
MSE memes with 4 panels or more are worth 2 gold coins.
Distinct panels required for gold coin eligibility.

13. Non-Scorable Submissions
Some submission types, like Plot Trackers, Relationship Charts, OOC Art, Gifts, Commissions, Chibis, Pixels, and RP Medallions, do not earn gold coins.

14. Background Requirements
Backgrounds must relate to your character's story.
They should not be completely detached from the character, plain, or overly transparent.

15. Recording Gold Coins
To record gold coins, send a note to the group or in the Discord using the specified format.
Use the provided template to list submissions and calculate new gold coin totals.
